Big Vase, underwater flora

DKK 3,000.00
sold out

The vase is made of mixed stoneware clays, the illustration is etched in clay and glazed white. Inside glazed white.
Size: about 28 cm tall, 3,5 cm wide at the rim.
Waterproof.
Dishwashersafe.

It’s just 20 pieces out of our one off collab collection with Bartek Arobal Kociemba. The two of us, have been exploring the subject of underwater flora intending to catch plants from the depths of the sea in a vessel. Each pot is made of a unique mix of stoneware and porcelain clays showing different natural soil colours. Bartek etched the drawings into the wet clay. Glaze is used to extract the delicate lines and bring them to the surface.
