big collab plate Gullinbursti
The plate is made of white porcelain, painted with cobalt underglaze by Pola Lisowicz and glazed transparent matt. It’s 28 cm wide and 3 cm deep. It’s food and dishwasher safe.
Gullinbursti :“The one with the golden bristles”
A gigantic magical boar and Freyr’s faithful companion. His golden bristles could pave one’s way by illuminating the darkness. Symbolism: Power, fertility & craftsmanship.
”Norse myths” is a collaboration project between Tasja P. and Pola Lisowicz, who has been invited to create together with Tasja a limited edition of ceramics objects decorating them with her individual aesthetic style. Norse mythology on porcelain pots I threw for her. Two Polish immigrants in Denmark diving into Scandinavian history.
Pola Lisowicz, a multitalented graphic designer (currently working for Lego), tattoo artist, and painter, you can check out her work at: https://www.instagram.com/lisowicz.pola/
